Our team
For as long as she can remember, Iona has held a deep love of story and of television. Finding stories that connect with audiences has been the cornerstone of her career and she is committed to bringing together the best of prestige and mainstream drama.
Following several successful years developing and producing drama for Tiger Aspect, Iona founded Double Dutch Productions in 2021 with the backing of Banijay. Her goal is to make Double Dutch a home for ambitious, intelligent drama with wide appeal.

Myar is proudly mainstream and telling stories that connect with an audience is central to all she does. She is passionate about working closely with writers to realise bold, authentic ideas and, following many years working in production, is brilliant at nurturing their work to screen.
Born and raised in Singapore and of mixed heritage, she brings a global perspective to Double Dutch’s slate with a particular commitment to nurturing East Asian talent and under-represented voices.

Alesya’s first love were characters - their intricacies and the stories they possess. She loves to develop projects closely with writers, creating shows rooted in distinctive worlds and subcultures, with mainstream accessibility and complex characters at the heart of the storytelling.
After script editing on multiple productions, Alesya moved into development, joining Double Dutch at its conception in 2021. In 2024 she was named a Broadcast Hotshot.

Phoebe has been addicted to television since she could turn it on and loves nothing better than a long-running drama series. She began her career on set as a runner before moving to a film marketing agency. She joined Double Dutch in 2024 and especially enjoys assisting the team in development and supporting the development slate.
